A gifted writer and blogger since 2007, Mayukh’s poetry is fresh & deep at its very core.
A reflection of human flaws and emotional ineptness with a certain sensitivity is woven deeply in his poetic styles, that draws inspiration from his life & his acquaintances.
Some of his favorite books include Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, The Bell Jar by Silvia Plath, Born A Crime by Trevor Noah, One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger, The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
His poetry work is inspired & influenced by the abstractness Haruki Murakami interspersed with touches of Charles Bukowski, both of whose works he loves dearly.

Tomato Sun is Mayukh's second book of poety.
The book incorporates experiences from the author's life and emotions and is an ode to all the years of writing that was done in spite of a routine day-job life.
The book is a compilation of twenty-five poems on relationships, love, growing up and change.
