The last track off my latest instrumental album 5TO9. The soundscape of this track is Ambient. Originally composed in 2015, almost a decade ago under the name Heart of the Gypsy, this song's story goes like this while you listen to the song: The journey through the music is representative of your life's journey that you undertake. The music swells as you are born from dust and grow up and become the center of attention as the music changes to the main hook. The bass kicks up as you grow up into a teenager engulfed in chaos. Then the drums pour in as you are thrown into adulthood's turmoil. Around midlife, all of this culminates in sort of a quietude. As your life changes with marriage, children, the music starts to pick up again and then there is sort of a different calm in your life after that. Towards the end of your celestial journey, your life comes roaring back at you with all the emotions and you experience it all till your last breath. © Mayukh Chatterji 2025. All rights reserved. It took me almost 2 years to make this but here's to the memory of my first and only @Sofarsounds show . 5 years of applications and many many many years of sitting by myself writing and composing songs to even feel a tad bit confident about my art form resulted in this canon event of my life. Grateful to have friends come out and support my very first show and cheer me on.
